These Terms of Service govern your use of Your Life Weekly, a life visualization application available on iOS and the web, including the Your Life Weekly Shop. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, website, or shop, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using Your Life Weekly (“the App”, “the Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), whether through the iOS application or the website at yourlifeweekly.com, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms of Service, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will communicate material changes through App Store update release notes and/or on the website.
Your Life Weekly is available as an iOS application and a web application at yourlifeweekly.com. It helps you visualize your life as a grid of weeks, track life chapters and memories, view life statistics, explore annual retrospectives (Editions), access a curated philosophical Almanac, and see historical and cultural context for any week of your life. By default, the App operates entirely on your device with no data transmitted to external servers.
The core App is provided free of charge. Your Life Weekly offers an optional premium upgrade — Public Profiles — which allows you to publish a shareable, publicly accessible version of your life grid and timeline at a personalized URL (yourlifeweekly.com/u/username). This feature is entirely opt-in and requires your explicit action to activate and publish. The core free functionality is not affected by whether you use the Public Profile feature.
Your Life Weekly also operates an online merchandise store (the “Shop”) at yourlifeweekly.com/shop, where you may purchase physical products such as apparel, stickers, and accessories. Purchases are processed through Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”) as our payment processor, and fulfilled by Printful, Inc. (“Printful”) as our print-on-demand and fulfillment partner.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit their use of the App.
If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, and to access and use the web application at yourlifeweekly.com, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
This license does not include the right to:
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the App in any way that:
All data you create within the App — including your date of birth, life chapters, memories, goals, and notes — is stored locally on your device by default. You retain full ownership of this content.
If you do not use the Public Profile feature, we do not access, collect, or store your content on any server. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of any data you wish to preserve. Deleting the App permanently removes all locally stored data.
If you choose to activate a Public Profile, certain data you select will be transmitted to and stored on our servers to enable public display. See Section 6A below for details.

Your Life Weekly offers an optional premium feature that allows you to publish a public profile page at a personalized URL (yourlifeweekly.com/u/your-username). This feature is entirely opt-in and requires your explicit action to set up and publish.
Public Profiles are completely optional. You are never required to publish any personal data. The core app experience is fully functional without activating this feature.
When you activate a Public Profile, the following information is transmitted to our servers and made publicly accessible to anyone with your profile URL:

You may unpublish or delete your Public Profile at any time. Upon deletion, your profile data will be removed from our servers and will no longer be publicly accessible. Cached versions may persist temporarily in search engine caches or web archives, which are outside our control.
Your chosen username must be unique and must not impersonate another person, brand, or entity. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign usernames at our discretion, including usernames that are inactive, misleading, or that violate these terms.
Your Life Weekly operates an online shop where you may purchase physical merchandise. By placing an order through the Shop, you agree to the following terms:
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. When you make a purchase, your payment information (such as credit card details) is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. Your use of Stripe’s services is subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy, available at stripe.com/legal.
Order Fulfillment: All physical products are manufactured and shipped by our print-on-demand partner, Printful, Inc. When you place an order, your shipping information (name, address, and email) is shared with Printful solely for the purpose of producing and delivering your order. Printful’s privacy practices are available at printful.com/policies/privacy.
Pricing and Availability: All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. We reserve the right to change product prices, discontinue products, or limit order quantities at any time without prior notice. Product availability is subject to Printful’s production capacity.
Product Descriptions and Images: We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and details accurately. However, because products are produced by Printful using print-on-demand processes, and because display settings vary between devices, actual products may differ slightly from images shown on the website.
Returns and Refunds: Because all merchandise is produced on demand by Printful, we generally cannot accept returns for buyer’s remorse or change of mind. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described, please contact us at support@yourlifeweekly.com within 30 days of delivery and we will work with Printful to arrange a replacement or refund. Refunds, when issued, will be processed through Stripe to your original payment method.
Shipping and Delivery: Estimated delivery times displayed at checkout are provided by Printful and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by production, shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Risk of loss for shipped products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Your Life Weekly, including its code, design, visual assets, written content, Almanac text, and historical data compilations, is owned by its developer and protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
The life-in-weeks visualization concept draws from ideas discussed publicly by Tim Urban and others. The specific implementation, design language, feature set, and content of Your Life Weekly are original works.
The personal content you enter into the App — your memories, chapters, and notes — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over user-generated content. By publishing a Public Profile, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and make publicly available the content you have chosen to publish, solely for the purpose of operating the Public Profile feature. This license ends when you unpublish or delete your Public Profile.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free from harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
Life expectancy estimates, countdown figures, and statistical calculations within the App are approximations based on configurable assumptions. They are not medical advice, actuarial projections, or guaranteed predictions. They exist to provide perspective, not precision.
Historical data, cultural snapshots, and price information included in the App are compiled from publicly available sources and are provided for informational and reflective purposes only. We make no representation as to the completeness or accuracy of this reference content.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL YOUR LIFE WEEKLY, ITS DEVELOPER, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Your Life Weekly and its developer from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms of Service; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.
The iOS version of Your Life Weekly is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your download and use of the iOS App is also subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions and App Store guidelines, which apply independently of these Terms of Service.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Your Life Weekly only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide any maintenance, support, warranty, or other services with respect to the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the Apple terms will prevail solely with respect to App Store matters.
The web application at yourlifeweekly.com is subject to these Terms of Service directly. Use of the web application does not require an Apple device or Apple account.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Deletion removes all locally stored data.
These Terms of Service and any dispute arising from your use of the App shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at the address below and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Your Life Weekly with respect to the App, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, regarding the App.
